Hi Last night my remote control locking stopped working. The car does not respond to the key and will not lock or unlock. I can still lock the car manually... I must use the central locking button, get out and then lock the driver door from outside using the key in the lock. Any idea why my car won't lock or unlock by remote control? |

I've already tried spare batteries. The red light on top of the steering column does not light up anymore which makes me think there is a hardware fault with the decoder. I've tried to resynchronize the keys but the car does not respond to them at all during this procedure. |

it can be decoder... go to Renault´s and they will do diagnostic.. |

Renault in the United Kingdom are VERY expensive. There customer service is terrible. |

The same in CZ... :-( But it is very difficult to repair without diagnostics... |

yes, here is it the same.... i go to renault only when i go to diagnostic, because it is only one option.... then you can repair the thing, because you know where is it bad... or when you must buy some things |
