Hi When I got my safrane it came with just 2 keys. The driver seat has 3 memory buttons. Can I use 3 keys with the safrane or will the car security not allow it? |

Yes I mean keys. Can I use 3 keys with this car? Will the security allow 3 keys? It seems silly to have 3 drivers but only 2 keys! |

It seems silly to have 3 drivers but only 2 keys!  so i think that you must only programing keys but you can have 9999999 keys.... because keys are all same... all keys are like the one, with the same code.

You can lend your key to someone else, can't you? Or for example if your wife is driving she definitely has different seat and mirror adjustments but she can use your key. From my point of view these are two different things which are not connected - the seat memories and the nr. of ignition keys. |

Yes I could lend the key but then it must be removed from my collection of keys and that can be awkward. I was just asking because seeing as there are 3 memories it would make sense to have 3 keys for 3 drivers. After all there are memories for 3 drivers! How can you not see this as being connected? |

I was just asking because seeing as there are 3 memories it would make sense to have 3 keys for 3 drivers. After all there are memories for 3 drivers! How can you not see this as being connected? the all 3 memories can use only one driver, for some people (like me) is good to change the position by long trip, sometimes is for me better one position, sometimes the other.. Safrane originally shoud have 2 keys... but you can buy so much copies of your key, how much you want.. but the memories and the keys have realy no connection |

Yes but how many keys will the car security system allow? We have a megane and that will only allow the use of 2 keys. |
