I just found out that I only have a couple of mine pics of the safrane, and the most are from the interior even though it has been in my family for 12 years now. Actually my father has had two of them. The first one was a new white '94 2.2Si 12v RT and I can remember that the digital AC and "talking computer" was at that time still something like science fiction. Later on he bought this car, a dark grey '98 2.5 RXT and kept it until now because of the unimaginable uglyness of the vel satis. The car was fully loaded with elec. black leather seats, xenon, alloys, chrome grill,... In has covered 400k kms and still going strong, but the engine mounts, axles, and shocks will need replacing sooner or later, oh, and the heated seats don't work. When I finish my current project, or when, god forbid this one looses it's breath, the engine is to be swaped for a volvo's 2.4 Low pressure turbo or a 2.3 T5. We'll see how that will work out, but in theory it shouldn't be that much of a problem, right now I'm trying to find out if anybody has done this so I wouldn't be inventing hot water all over again and getting stuck at the little things that can, and will, go wrong and then the project pauses for weeks.
Planing and thinking ahead is always better than hammering the metal like mad because things don't fit like they should. But in the end there is always finesse of a 1kg hammer!

The V70 T5, with a cracked engine head which should be the donor car (engine block, turbo, exhaust, ECU, wiring, igniton key code,...), but at that time, I got a great deal for it, so it went away before I could strip it down.

Beat up 75s stripped down for parts,
Current project, a 75 with full coilover suspension, a 2.0 8v TS engine with a little help from a Eaton M45 supercharger and vems injection&ignition with LSD.
Construction in front of my house for lifting the engine out and pics from the old 1.6 and first 2.0.
And a result, aproximately 1500km later when trying out when will the car top out.
